The Galeón Andalucía is a replica of the ship used by the Spanish during the 16th-18th centuries, in the maritime expeditions of discovery and inter-oceanic trade between Spain, America and the Philippines of the so-called fleets of the Indies.
Construction of the galleon took 17 months and employed 150 people. The vessel launched in Punta Umbría (Huelva, Spain) in November, 2009.
The ship was docked at Spillers Quay from the 25th June until 7th July 2024.
