Newburn Haugh

Newburn Haugh was once the site of the Anglo Great Lakes Graphite Plant and Stella (North) power station. The land was reclaimed some time ago and a new business park was built on the eastern edge and a pathway along the Tyne was tidied up and it makes for a lovely walk about a mile long.
