Quite possibly Newcastle's smallest public cemetery the Hollywood Avenue Cemetery was opened in 1943.
The Cemetery is the burial place of Mac Hobson, a motorcycle sidecar racer, who died on the opening lap of the 1978 Sidecar Race during the Tourist Trophy (TT) events on the Isle of Man.
