Gateshead indoor market is sited directly beneath the Trinity Centre Multi-Storey Car Park AKA 'Get Carter Car Park' in Gateshead city centre. The car park and the shopping centre are due for demolition soon so I thought that I'd have a wander over and take a few pictures.

Love these images-it's like a ghost town. Great work, sir
I enjoyed the wander around in there but it was a little creepy.
I bumped into someone else taking photos in there and I wandered around with them for safety in numbers, sort of thing. :)
The photographs are a great reminder of when I lived in Gateshead. I still remember when the indoor market was full of busy.
How times change.
Thanks for the fantastic photographs.
Ian
