Killingworth Engineering Research Station

The building was designed by the architects Ryder and Yates as their own office base.
It was one of a key group of buildings at Killingworth New Town, two of them, Norgas House and the Stephenson House, have since been knocked down.

Planning permission was granted by North Tyneside Council in 2014 for its demolition and soon after it was listed on the recommendation of English Heritage.

interesting building, do you know what is going on there now? It looks as if it should be in a skandi-noir tv series.
Keep blogging the photos please
