A few photos of the Quayside taken in the mixture of fog and mist which covered Newcastle for over 24 hours on Friday.

I can see most of you singing it in your head so here's a link YouTube - Lindisfarne - Fog on the Tyne. Enjoy.

Heh, didn't think I was the only one out taking photos when it was like that!:

Nice photos, very atmospheric :)
Thanks.
Tarmac: Loved your pic from the High Level Bridge. I think I missed an opportunity there. :)
So fog returns to the Tyne? Most evocative...
Fab.
I was at Saltwell Park in Gateshead during the fog, they had a great art installation The Twelve Days of Christmas. Really spooky in the fog, three boats with black metal figures inside and the bandstand has ladies dancing, there were little pear trees and birds etc. The old building near the pond is brilliant.
Coastcard: and cold! :)
Yvonne: Thanks.
Sounds neat, let me know if you put any photos of the event online and I will link to them.
