Saltmeadows Riverside

Gateshead's Saltmeadows Riverside was a popular picnic area and a cycle path but was closed to the public in 2005 after soil samples showed significant levels of dioxins. The site re-opened in early 2009 and these photos were taken on 2 seperate visits.
