Lemington Cemetery

I don't really know a lot about this cemetery other than the fact that it opened in 1906.
The cemetery is quite unique in that it has plenty of room for more burials as opposed to most other cemeteries which are rather pushed for space.

Here lie the remains of those
previously buried in the grounds of
the Newcastle Infirmary, Forth Banks
now the site of the
International Centre for Life.

Originally buried between 1753 & 1854
and re-interred here November 1998
